It can be used with a single module, dual modules, or three modules, offering a total of seven different configuration options.
How should I use the interfaces on this product, and what is the function of each interface?
The detailed functions of the interfaces are shown in the figure below:
What devices are compatible with Bricbloc?
Works with MacBooks, laptops, phones, tablets, Nintendo Switch, and any USB-C or USB-A device.
Does it work with my MacBook Pro/Air?
Yes, supports full 67W charging for MacBook Pro 13"/14" and all MacBook Air models.
Can the HUB module support Nintendo Switch 2?
Of course, the HUB module supports screen mirroring for Switch 2, and its HDMI interface is compatible with 4K 60Hz, allowing you to fully enjoy playing games on a large screen.
What's the maximum storage speed?
Up to 1000 MB/s with the NVMe PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD module.
Can I charge 4 devices simultaneously?
Yes, the hub has multiple ports that can charge/power devices while connected to the GaN module.
What's included in each module?
HUB module: HDMI 2.0, 10Gbps USB-C*2, 10Gbps USB-A ports.
SSD module: 512GB or 1TB storage, 10Gbps.
GaN module: 67W charging with US/EU/UK adapters. 1m USB-C Cable.
Does the SSD come pre-installed, or do I install it myself?
Comes pre-installed and ready to use. No technical setup required.
Why does the SSD module sometimes experience speed reduction?
When the SSD module is used in conjunction with the PD module, the SSD module may throttle due to excessive heat generation. When transferring files larger than 30GB, we recommend using the SSD module alone.
When using the SSD module with the PD module, or the SSD module with both the PD and HUB modules, why does the hard drive disconnect and reconnect 2 to 3 times?
The power control chip's software on the SSD module is designed to reset once when encountering different voltages. For example, when both the 20V voltage from the PD module and the 5V voltage from the device are applied to the SSD module simultaneously, the SSD module automatically performs two resets, resulting in two disconnection/reconnection prompts. This is normal behavior.
Why is there a brief electrical noise during SSD read/write operations?
During the first few seconds of SSD read/write operations, significant current fluctuations may cause brief electrical noise. Once the current stabilizes, the noise will disappear. This is normal behavior.
Why does the GaN module fail to charge when used together with other modules?
If charging doesn't work or the hard drive isn't recognized, try unplugging and reconnecting the data cable on the device side. This simple step often restores both charging and drive detection.
Why can't I charge my laptop using the USB-C2 port?
Only the USB-C1, USB-C3, and USB-C4 ports support high-power fast charging. The USB-C2 and USB-A ports provide only 5W of power, which is insufficient for charging laptops. Please use one of the USB-C1, USB-C3, or USB-C4 ports to power your laptop.
